On the 20th of October, Wednesday, India recorded a surge in the new Wuhan virus, also known as the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19.) Compared to the previous day, the number of cases increased with 14,623 new infections. On the 19th of October, India reported 13,058 cases of the Wuhan virus, the lowest in the last 231 days. Besides the 14,623 new cases, the nation recorded 197 fatalities (31 more fatalities, than yesterday) and 19,446 recoveries.
