Chinese Communist Party (CCP) introduced a new policy last August that set rules to limit the time of minors from spending too much time playing video games. The rules were made as a necessary move to fight the online gaming addiction that Chinese youth are facing. Gamers however, were not too pleased with the rules and expressed their outrage, finding loopholes in the three-hour limit set by the CCP. Chinese state media has acknowledged the loopholes regarding the situation which allows minors to bypass the new rules.
