Malaysia’s Employees Provident Fund outsourced 155.18 billion ringgit (US$37.26 billion) of its investment assets to external fund managers last year, 17.2% more than the 132.41 billion ringgit outsourced in 2019. The outsourced amount represents 15.55% of the EPF’s 998 billion ringgit of total investment assets as of end-2020, up from 14.12% in 2019.
