China will donate 100 million Covid-19 doses to developing countries by the end of 2021, Chinese president Xi Jinping promised. Xi made the pledge recently during a virtual summit with the leaders of Brazil, Russia, India, and South Africa - which together with China make up the BRICS alliance of emerging economies.
