CORONAVIRUS/Taiwan reports 12 new COVID-19 cases, zero deaths Taipei, Sept. 7 (CNA) Taiwan on Tuesday reported 12 new COVID-19 cases -- eight transmitted domestically and four contracted overseas -- and zero deaths from the disease, according to the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC). Seven of the domestic cases were in New Taipei, while the other one was in Taipei, the CECC said, indicating that two more children and three parents have tested positive in a preschool cluster that was first reported Monday.
