August 25 – The Asian qualifiers for the Qatar 2022 World Cup are seeing more covid-forced venue changes with Qatar confirmed as the neutral venue for three qualifiers in the first international window in September. China had already switched their Group B match-up against Japan to Qatar for covid travel reasons. Before that match they will face Australia in Qatar on September 2.
