China’s star swimmer Sun Yang has responded to the ban that has kept him out of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games next month, telling Chinese media that he will “not give up”. In a WeChat conversation with a journalist from The Paper, a Shanghai-based digital newspaper, Sun said “I’ll definitely jiayou [add oil] and won’t give up”, their website reported.
