Umicore and BASF enter materials agreement 4 May 2021 Umicore and BASF have entered into a non-exclusive patent cross-license agreement covering cathode materials and their precursors, including nickel manganese cobalt (NMC), nickel cobalt aluminum (NCA), nickel manganese cobalt aluminum (NMCA) and high manganese (HLM).
