BEIJING, April 3 (Xinhua) -- Despite a 114-95 loss to the Guangdong Southern Tigers on Saturday, Shenzhen Aviators center Shen Zijie made a small piece of history by breaking the CBA's single-season block record. Shen finished with 20 points, 16 rebounds and six blocks against Guangdong. The 23-year old center has tallied 131 blocks so far this season, surpassing the previous record of 126 set by Chinese basketball icon Yao Ming, who currently presides over the CBA.
