Anti-Asian American Hate Crimes on the rise During the Coronavirus Pandemic

The fatal shootings in Atlanta are bringing the spike in anti-Asian and Asian American hate crimes to the forefront. Investigators are trying to figure out if the deadly shooting spree was racially motivated, as six of the eight people murdered were Asian women of Korean descent. It’s raising concern about a national trend, targeting Asians, because of the Coronavirus.
