The Chinese government criticized the Sichuan province for having a discarded hydro powerplant considering its crypto mining potential. Chinese journalist Colin Wu (Twitter handle @WuBlockchain) tweeted the news saying: “ Sichuan’s “abandoned hydropower” was criticized by central government.
