By Nancy Gillen Japan and China have pledged to support preparations for the 2024 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Gangwon in South Korea. The commitment came after representatives from South Korea, Japan and China met for a trilateral ministerial meeting on sports. These meetings have taken place since 2016, when the three countries discussed preparations for the Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Olympic Games, Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic Games and Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games.
