Taiwanese fugitive tests positive for COVID-19 after arrest

Taipei, Nov. 30 (CNA) A Taiwanese man who was arrested late last week at Taiwan’s main airport, after being on the run, has tested positive for COVID-19 and is now in hospital quarantine, Taoyuan Prison said Monday. The man, surnamed Chou (à¥'¨), arrived at Taoyuan International Airport from the Philippines on Nov. 27 and was immediately identified by immigration officers as a wanted fugitive, according to prison authorities.
