The Food and Drug Administration approved last August a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) called Lianhua Qingwen, offering a ray of hope in battling the dreaded Covid-19 virus, at least for patients with mild or moderate symptoms. The FDA nod makes Lianhua Qingwen the first TCM to be registered as a traditionally used herbal product in the Philippines.
