Hong Kong reports 43 new COVID-19 cases, tightens measures

HONG KONG: Hong Kong reported 43 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday (Nov 21), as authorities further tightened social distancing measures following a surge of infections in the city. Of the new COVID-19 cases reported on Saturday, 36 were locally transmitted. Thirteen were from unknown transmission sources. The city had reported 26 new infections on Friday. The surge in infections has led Hong Kong and Singapore authorities to announce that the launch of an air travel bubble between the two cities would be deferred by two weeks.
