BEIJING, July 24 (Xinhua) -- Chinese health authority said Friday that it received reports of 21 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on the Chinese mainland Thursday, 15 of which were domestically transmitted. Of the domestically transmitted cases, 13 were reported in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and two were in Liaoning Province, the National Health Commission said in its daily report. No deaths related to the disease were reported Thursday, the commission said. On Thursday, 18 COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovery, and one new suspected case was reported.
