In an escalation of the threatening invasion of Taiwan airspace, aircraft from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) entered the air space eight times between June 9 and June 22, increasing tension between the two states. The Taiwan air force responded promptly to the foreign aircraftsࢀ™ presence, issuing warnings and sent air reconnaissance and patrol aircraft to intercept them, the Ministry of National Defense reported, according to Taiwan News.
