Taipei, June 12 (CNA) A Chinese military Y-8 transport aircraft entered Taiwan's air defense identification zone (ADIZ) while flying over waters southwest of the country on Friday, but was chased away shortly by Taiwanese fighter jets, the Ministry of National Defense (MND) said. The intrusion occurred in the morning, the ministry said in a statement, noting that the People's Liberation Army (PLA) plane was soon driven out of the ADIZ by radio warnings issued by the Taiwanese fighters.
