About

ChinaPulse is a media intelligence and OSINT platform that uses proprietary A.I. technology to deliver curated news and insights. We uniquely showcase the varied global media narrative on China by analyzing thousands of online sources.

Built and coded by China data and intelligence veteran Danny Levinson, ChinaPulse.com launched in 2000 as the digital evolution of a highly-regarded weekly faxed newsletter (dating back to the early-1990s) distributed by Beijing-based SinoFile Information Services Ltd to foreign embassies in China, multinational corporations, and foreign journalists operating in Greater China.

After merging with SinoLinx.com in 2008, we were acquired by Asia Media Network in 2009 (now operating within AMN), and we completed the acquisition of SinoFile’s digital assets in 2020.

While the daily briefs on our website are free for all subscribers, we also provide a higher level of paid media monitoring services that allow for greater speed, relevancy, and insights into the Chinese online news and social posts critical for your organization. View our Services for more info.

Individual news stories are copyright their respective sources on ChinaPulse.com. Computer algorithms generally select what is shown on ChinaPulse.com, and the algorithms determine which stories, images, and videos show, and in what order. We are funded by advertising both inside our daily email alerts and on our website. Contact us about getting your brand, product, or service exposure to tens of thousands of daily readers.
